Empire of the Sun – Is This Band From Planet Earth?!

 Indigo Kids are what they are being called.  Indigo children usher in a new energy that is transforming the planet around us. They are groundbreakers, creative rebels and independent thinkers, people who will go their own route and leave people and things around them changed.  

Empire of the Sun is an Australian  music duo comprised of Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore.  The duo’s name comes from J.G. Ballards novel by the same name. 

The first single “Walking on a Dream” was originally released in on August 2008 and broke the record for the longest time taken to reach  the Top 10 (23 Weeks).  In reference to the book/film “Empire of the Sun”, the music video for the song was filmed in Shanghai, China and was directed by Josh Logue.
